Assigment 2

Task 1
Assalamualaikum...To all my friends and my beloved teacher. Let me introduce my self. I am Siti Sarah from Rafflesia Group. Here, I would like to express about this task. I choose " Get a life " topic to listen the prof David Crystal's recording. It is about true life. I had listening and I just a little understand. I'm not understand very well what he was talking because he speaking very fluent in english language.
Here I want to share to all the new words in this topic.
1- Derogatory- expressing disapproved or scorn. (menghina)
2- Obsess- to occupy someone's mind too much.(mengganggu/diganggu)
3- Sorts- type or kind. (jenis)

In my opinion, this topic make me happy when I read. When I listen David Crytal's recording, I'm not understand what he said, and understand when I read the tapescript. It is very benefit if you want excellent in english language and I hope it can make me better english in listening, speaking and writing. Thanks..

Task 2.

I want to continue my task. In this task, I want to explain my experience about " In your Dream" topic in David Crystal's recording. He used the word very difficult to understand and speaking very fast and fluent. I'm not understand very well too. When I see the tapescript, I just understand a little because some word difficult for me. I must refer the dictionary to understand.
Here, I would like also to share to all some words while I found it in this topic.
1- Circumstance- a fact, a happening ( keadaan)
2- Expectations- the state of expecting (harapan@ jangkaan)
3- Mutter- to utter words in a quiet voice especially when grumbling (rungutan)
4- Optimistic- hoping or believing something good will happen.

For me, this activity so attrack my attention to listen again. It is coused, I'm not understand to listen first. I must to listen second or third and see the tapescript to understand. But I enjoyed it. The all activities I listened, so interesting. So, I hope it can help me in better english language specially speaking. Thanks..
