Task 1

Assalamualaikum...

Hi! hello to all my friends and beloved teacher. Hope you all in healty always. I'm Siti Noor Akma want to share my experience while listening the David Crystal's recording. Prof . David Crystal's recordingn its so benefit to me. Here, I want to give my opinion about the title 'Get a Life' as my topic to share with you all. Firstly, I should listening the David Crystal's recording without reading the tapescript. Its so difficult to me, because I'm not understand what he was talking. But, after I had reading the the tapescript, I understand already the topic. Althought, I know actually his talked very well. The topic story about US telivision show. Its so attractive way to get more cheerful in life.

Here, I want give some words that I got from this recording.

1. Derogatory: expressing disapproved or scorn.
2. Leading: to guide or take a person or animal in a certain direction.
3. Dull: not bright, shining or clear.
4. Obsessed: to occupy someone's mind too much.
5. Sort: a class, type or kind.

I hope You are also enjoy with this activity.

Task 2

Now, I will continue story about my experience with the title 'in your dreams'. I think, this topic too difficult. When I listened first, I'm not understand what he was talking, but when I had readed the tapescript, I began understand the topic already.

I also got some words in this topic. Here, I will share with you all.

1. Optimistic: hoping or believing something good will happen.
2. Circumstances: a fact, a happening.
3. Expectation: the state of expecting.
4. Mutter: to utter words in a quiet voice especially when grumbling.

This activity so interesting to me. I got more new words in this task. I hope it can give me the better english whether in listening, speaking or writing than before I did this activity.
