ASSIGMENT 2 : task 1

In first task for listening, I chose ‘not’ as my topic. I wonder that this task was very challenging especially for me. Most of the topics are very difficult to understand if we did not listen to the recording carefully. During listening the recording by Prof. David Crystal for the first time, I cannot understand what exactly the topic talk about. After listen it for many times, finally I can catch up what Prof. David Crystal trying to say.The topic is about the usage of word ‘not’ which shows negative meaning. It is an unusual usage that we can putting the word ‘not’ at the end, instead of in the middle. There are some new word that I can found in this text such as negate which bring meaning deny existing of something.
